WOMEN OF THE ELCA - North Cluster Gathering
9:00-11:00 am Saturday September 23 at Trinity in Lindstrom
All are invited to meet other women in our North Cluster: make new friends and learn about some great things that are happening to be the hands and feet of Jesus. The St. Paul Area Synod and the Iringa Lutheran Diocese in Tanzania have developed 'Dignity for Daughters" to achieve menstrual equity by 1) providing health education to teenage girls and boys, and 2)ensuring reusable menstrual products are made available. They have established local sewing groups, and have available, and distribute sanitary kits approved by a group of girls from a local village (girls don't go to school when they have their period). Come and see how we can be of help in this project.
