Children & Family Ministries
Jesus, however, said, “Let the little children come to me, and stop keeping them away, because the kingdom from heaven belongs to people like these.” Matthew 19:14
In Baptism, God claims us as His very own. With water and the Word we are declared forgiven children of God. The journey that begins in Baptism is built upon the promise of God’s unfailing love through Jesus Christ, our Lord. It is our desire at Trinity Lutheran to be partners with parents in ministry. We provide a variety of programs that help parents teach their children about the Bible, the love of God, and life long discipleship.
Children’s Ministry
Family Sunday School wrapped up in May and we are so thankful for the volunteers that helped make our year possible! We had a special last day filled with our end of the year party, singing in church, and a special thank you for Sarah Krosschell for her dedication, time, and gifts she shared with our Sunday School program for the past 5 years! Family Sunday School is now on break for the summer. We hope to see you this summer at Family VBS and again in the fall! May the love of Jesus shine bright in all of your summer fun and activities!
Family-Style Sunday School
Family-Style Sunday School welcomes all ages of kiddos and their parents/caregivers! Bring your babies or your older kids – this is all about family and there will be things for all ages to be a part of. Our hope is that this style will help grow faith formation for everyone. Come be a part of a wonderful community of families at Trinity. We spend time together doing Bible stories, music, prayer, activities, crafts, service projects, yearly Christmas program, and many holiday events (Fall party, Hot Cocoa party, Easter Egg hunt).
