Children & Family Ministries
Jesus, however, said, “Let the little children come to me, and stop keeping them away, because the kingdom from heaven belongs to people like these.” Matthew 19:14
In Baptism, God claims us as His very own. With water and the Word we are declared forgiven children of God. The journey that begins in Baptism is built upon the promise of God’s unfailing love through Jesus Christ, our Lord. It is our desire at Trinity Lutheran to be partners with parents in ministry. We provide a variety of programs that help parents teach their children about the Bible, the love of God, and life long discipleship.
Children from 3 years -5th grade are welcome to join us for Sunday School! Sunday School at Trinity is a time for children to learn more about church, worship, faith, fellowship and scripture through music, engaging small group lessons, games, and art!
We want to thank all of our families and Sunday School teachers and volunteers who helped out and served this year! We are grateful to everyone who helped make our year so special. Our ministry would not be what it is without God’s help and all of your support. We are blessed to have many great memories from this Sunday School year that will always be with us.
Summer in the Son
Summer in the son is for all incoming 3 year olds – incoming 6th graders.
What is Virtual Summer in the Son? This year Summer in the Son Vacation Bible School is happening virtually! We are inviting families to explore God’s love and His amazing plan for us. Since we are unable to meet in person, each week will have a virtual lesson and simple craft. We will have a “SITS Take Home Kit” that will include craft supplies, any print outs needed for all 4 weeks, AND a SITS T-shirt that families can pick up at Trinity.
Where to pick up SITS Take Home Kits: We will contact registrants in advance with specific dates and times for contactless pick up the week of June 15, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 38460 Lincoln Trail, North Branch, MN.
Please register by May 27, to ensure a t-shirt in your size and a kit will be ready for you to pick up.
When Lessons/Crafts Will Be Emailed: We will email any links for videos and lessons each week on the following dates: June 17, June 24, July 1, and July 8, but you can do them at any time with your family. We invite you to share photos of your crafts on our Trinity Sunday School Facebook group or email them to me.
Please fill out the registration form and return it by May 27th.
A First Communion Class are held twice a year. This instruction is open to any and all people who have not yet received Communion. If you or your child/children would like to participate in a first communion class, forms are available in the office. Parents are invited to attend the class with their child or children.

Baptisms at Trinity are held the 3rd Sunday of each month. Only three Baptisms are held at each worship service. Baptism class is held every other month. Sponsors (Godparents) and Grandparents are encouraged to attend the class. After completing the form, please return it to the church office. Baptisms will be scheduled as they come in. The church office will confirm your date and service time. Please review the Baptism brochure to understand what it means to have your child Baptized.
