Children & Family Ministries

Jesus, however, said, “Let the little children come to me, and stop keeping them away, because the kingdom from heaven belongs to people like these.” Matthew 19:14

In Baptism, God claims us as His very own. With water and the Word we are declared forgiven children of God. The journey that begins in Baptism is built upon the promise of God’s unfailing love through Jesus Christ, our Lord. It is our desire at Trinity Lutheran to be partners with parents in ministry. We provide a variety of programs that help parents teach their children about the Bible, the love of God, and life long discipleship.

Children’s Ministry

February will be filled with fun and fellowship for Sunday School families! We will have our Snow Play Day on Sunday, February 5, after 10:00 worship until 11:30 a.m. Families are invited to bring your snow gear and play outside at Trinity with us! We are collecting soup once again for our Souper Bowl soup drive. Please place your soup donations on the cart in the narthex by February 12. All donations will be shared with the grocery shelf here at Trinity and/or the North Branch food shelf. There will be no Sunday School on President’s Day weekend. On Sunday, February 26, we will be having our Family Hot Cocoa Party in the Fellowship hall. We will have fun make and take crafts, treats, and cocoa from 9-9:45 a.m. and the children will sing during the 10 a.m. service.

Please reach out to Sarah with any questions at skrosschell@trinitynorthbranch.org

Family-Style Sunday School
