Children & Family Ministries

Jesus, however, said, “Let the little children come to me, and stop keeping them away, because the kingdom from heaven belongs to people like these.” Matthew 19:14

In Baptism, God claims us as His very own. With water and the Word we are declared forgiven children of God. The journey that begins in Baptism is built upon the promise of God’s unfailing love through Jesus Christ, our Lord. It is our desire at Trinity Lutheran to be partners with parents in ministry. We provide a variety of programs that help parents teach their children about the Bible, the love of God, and life long discipleship.

Children’s Ministry

Summer in the Son is excited to explore God’s beautiful creation family-style this August! We have 14 families registered to enjoy activities, games, and craft stations for two nights at Trinity and two nights of informal family fellowship at Harder Park. We also have the Scoops Ice Cream Truck to kick off the first night! T-shirts will be available for registered families to pick up from the table in the Narthex starting Sunday, August 1st. We’re looking forward to time together for families to re-connect this summer. We appreciate the prayers, staff, youth leaders, families, and everyone who helped  with our program this summer!

We’re excited to share that Sunday School will be kicking off on Sunday, September 12. We will hand out backpack tags that day and have our “Blessing of the Backpacks” for students and staff at the 10:00 a.m. service. We encourage students to bring their backpack from home to the service. Sunday School registration will be available in mid-August so look for information to be shared then. We are still looking for one more teacher and a few substitute teachers to help out in classes as needed this year. Reach out to Sarah if you can help.  skrosschell@trinitynorthbranch.org
