Children & Family Ministries
Jesus, however, said, “Let the little children come to me, and stop keeping them away, because the kingdom from heaven belongs to people like these.” Matthew 19:14
In Baptism, God claims us as His very own. With water and the Word we are declared forgiven children of God. The journey that begins in Baptism is built upon the promise of God’s unfailing love through Jesus Christ, our Lord. It is our desire at Trinity Lutheran to be partners with parents in ministry. We provide a variety of programs that help parents teach their children about the Bible, the love of God, and life long discipleship.
Sunday School families are joining in an outdoor Easter Egg Hunt and Palm Branch Parade on Palm Sunday, weather permitting. We are planning for a few more in-person, family-style Sunday School opportunities this spring. Keep watching your emails from Sarah for registration and more details.
For any questions you can reach out to email@example.com.
Children from 3 years -5th grade are welcome to join us for Sunday School! Sunday School at Trinity is a time for children to learn more about church, worship, faith, fellowship and scripture through music, engaging small group lessons, games, and art!
Summer in the Son
Virtual Summer in the Son just wrapped up and we are grateful that 36 youth were able to participate with take home kits and video lessons this year!
A First Communion Class are held twice a year. This instruction is open to any and all people who have not yet received Communion. If you or your child/children would like to participate in a first communion class, forms are available in the office. Parents are invited to attend the class with their child or children.
Contact Julie or Pastor Jon with questions.
Baptisms at Trinity are held the 3rd Sunday of each month. Only three Baptisms are held at each worship service. Baptism class is held every other month. Sponsors (Godparents) and Grandparents are encouraged to attend the class. After completing the form, please return it to the church office. Baptisms will be scheduled as they come in. The church office will confirm your date and service time. Please review the Baptism brochure to understand what it means to have your child Baptized.
