Children & Family Ministries

Jesus, however, said, “Let the little children come to me, and stop keeping them away, because the kingdom from heaven belongs to people like these.” Matthew 19:14

In Baptism, God claims us as His very own. With water and the Word we are declared forgiven children of God. The journey that begins in Baptism is built upon the promise of God’s unfailing love through Jesus Christ, our Lord. It is our desire at Trinity Lutheran to be partners with parents in ministry. We provide a variety of programs that help parents teach their children about the Bible, the love of God, and life long discipleship.

Sunday School

Children from 3 years -5th grade are welcome to join us for Sunday School! Sunday mornings from 9:00am – 10:00am Sunday School at Trinity is a time for children to learn more about church, worship, faith, fellowship and scripture through music, engaging small group lessons, games, and art!

Summer in the Son VBS is going strong and everyone seems to be having a great time getting back to nature! The theme is “Wild Wonder-Creation Care Camp.” We have been spending a lot of time outside and slowing down to really notice the amazing things God has created in the great outdoors. From the smallest insect to the tallest tree to God’s most beloved creation: People! There are 36 children, 18 youth and 4+ adults participating during the morning portion of Summer in the Son. Keep an eye on the Trinity Facebook page for pictures of all the Summer in the Son adventures.

Sunday School will be kicking off before we know it too, so stay tuned for information about specific dates and registration info.

Have a great July & be sure to get outside and enjoy God’s wildly wonderful world!

Summer in the Son

This year’s theme for Summer in the Son is “Wild Wonder-Creation Care Camp.” The children will learn about God’s wonderful creation through outdoor play, science projects and nature inspired art. We will end each session with a bountiful feast!

There will be no cost once again this year as we still have funds available from last year’s generous donation.

This is for all incoming 3 year olds – incoming 6th graders.

If you have not registered you still can. We cannot guarantee t-shirts for late registrations but would still love to have your child join us! Registration forms are available on the narthex table and the website. Or you may request one by emailing mjohnson@trinitynorthbranch.org
