Children & Family Ministries

Jesus, however, said, “Let the little children come to me, and stop keeping them away, because the kingdom from heaven belongs to people like these.” Matthew 19:14

In Baptism, God claims us as His very own. With water and the Word we are declared forgiven children of God. The journey that begins in Baptism is built upon the promise of God’s unfailing love through Jesus Christ, our Lord. It is our desire at Trinity Lutheran to be partners with parents in ministry. We provide a variety of programs that help parents teach their children about the Bible, the love of God, and life long discipleship.

Sunday School

Children from 3 years -5th grade are welcome to join us for Sunday School! Sunday mornings from 9:00am – 10:00am Sunday School at Trinity is a time for children to learn more about church, worship, faith, fellowship and scripture through music, engaging small group lessons, games, and art!

Sunday School PamphletSunday School Registration Form

February was great month for Sunday School, we had engaging Bible stories and it is so fun to see how all of Trinity’s Sunday School teachers go above and beyond to bring creativity to their classrooms! It is a great gift to see how God has led these teachers and these children together for this school year 😊
As this is being typed, there is still one more week left of the annual Souper Bowl Soup collection and these kids, along with the greater congregation, will easily exceed this year’s goal of 200 cans!! On Sunday, February 17th, Pastor Jon and the children prayed a blessing over the soup that will begin its journey into the hands…& tummies of those who need it.

Looking ahead to March; Sunday School will only be meeting two times due to Spring Break and a much needed Women’s Retreat that many Sunday School teachers and moms will be attending. Also, If the weather holds out, maybe we can squeeze in a Snow Fun Sunday and take advantage of those awesome snow piles around the edges of the parking lot! Stay tuned for info on that as the weeks progress!.
