Children & Family Ministries
Jesus, however, said, “Let the little children come to me, and stop keeping them away, because the kingdom from heaven belongs to people like these.” Matthew 19:14
In Baptism, God claims us as His very own. With water and the Word we are declared forgiven children of God. The journey that begins in Baptism is built upon the promise of God’s unfailing love through Jesus Christ, our Lord. It is our desire at Trinity Lutheran to be partners with parents in ministry. We provide a variety of programs that help parents teach their children about the Bible, the love of God, and life long discipleship.
Children from 3 years -5th grade are welcome to join us for Sunday School! Sunday School at Trinity is a time for children to learn more about church, worship, faith, fellowship and scripture through music, engaging small group lessons, games, and art!
Sunday school children have been busy learning Bible stories, making crafts, singing and making new friends! Five 3rd Graders received Bibles and 20 Sunday school and confirmation volunteers were initiated at the end of September. Please keep our students and teachers in your prayers as they learn about God’s love. November brings official Christmas program practice time! We will begin practicing lines and songs and look forward to welcoming the joyful spirit that the birth of our Savior brings this season. It’s never too late to register! Sunday school registrations and forms are available online and on the table in the narthex. Have a blessed Thanksgiving!
Feel free to reach out to Sarah Krosschell, Sunday School Coordinator, email@example.com or 651-674-7047 with any questions.

Summer in the Son
Summer in the Son was so much fun this year. We were blessed with 36 children, 18 youth leaders and a total of 8 adults involved in leading stations, driving, chaperoning and mentoring. It was such a gift to see the many generations come together and learn about God’s wildly wonderful Creation!!
This is for all incoming 3 year olds – incoming 6th graders.
A First Communion Class will be held Wednesday, 11/27 at 6:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. This instruction is open to any and all people who have not yet received Communion. If you or your child/children would like to participate in this year’s class, forms are available below or in the office. Parents are invited to attend the class with their child or children. Those participating in the class will be invited to commune for the first time at our 7:00 pm Thanksgiving Eve Worship. Communion that night will be by table at the altar.
Contact Julie or Pastor Jon with questions.
Baptisms at Trinity are held the 3rd Sunday of each month. Only three Baptisms are held at each worship service. Baptism class is held every other month. Sponsors (Godparents) and Grandparents are encouraged to attend the class. After completing the form, please return it to the church office. Baptisms will be scheduled as they come in. The church office will confirm your date and service time. Please review the Baptism brochure to understand what it means to have your child Baptized.
