Adult Bible Study

Join us for Sunday Morning Bible Study starting April 28th at 9:05 am Fireside Room

1 John is a book of comfort and challenge. It comforts us with the reminder that we are children of God. It challenges us to make our faith genuine by expressing in our lives what we believe in our hearts. Participants will explore this important book by examining four key questions.

This 4-session Bible study explores selected passages from 1 John.

  •  4/28: Who is Jesus—really? (1 John 1:1—2:2)
  • 5/5: Who are we—really? (1 John 2:29—3:24)
  • 5/12: How can we love—really? (1 John 4:1-21)
  • 5/19: How can we live—really? (1 John 5:1-13)
You may drop-in at any time during these sessions. For more information, contact Rich Lundberg, 651-674-6218 or nblundberg@aol.com.

Gather magazine’s fall Bible study focuses on repentance. Repentance is one of the most powerful acts of a person or a church, making possible not only forgiveness but also reconciliation.

This fall, Gather magazine (Gather Magazine) will explore what repentance means for Lutheran Christians in a three-part Bible study. Written by the Rev. Meghan Johnston Aelabouni, this Bible study focuses on the role of repentance in our faith, our relationships and the church. Subscribe now to get all three sessions of the study.
